A respected yet often underrated pianist and composer, Wilson worked with notable artists such as Gene Ammons, Jackie McLean, Esther Phillips, Lou Rawls, Johnny Griffin, Eartha Kitt, Lambert Hendricks & Ross, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. The album opens with a beautiful rendition of Jobim’s “Corcovado,” followed by five original compositions, delivering a warm, sophisticated, and lively jazz session.
