Recorded between 2012 and 2013 with several producers, the album features Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin as executive producers and guest appearances from Skylar Grey, Rihanna, Nate Ruess, and Kendrick Lamar, among others. In March 2017, it was certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and earned Eminem a record sixth Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
